Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your CogniFocus account from Settings. This page explains what is deleted, what may remain with subscription providers, and how to get help

Delete From Settings

The recommended way to delete your account is directly inside CogniFocus

  1. Open CogniFocus.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

What Gets Deleted

Account deletion removes CogniFocus account data that can be deleted from the app, clears local preferences, records the deletion request for safety, and deletes your sign-in account

  • Pending CogniFocus notifications are cancelled.
  • Active CogniFocus app services are stopped.
  • Your sign-in account is deleted.
  • Your synced profile data is deleted.
  • Your synced daily stats and sync records are deleted.
  • CogniFocus tries to delete matching support request records tied to your account.
  • A limited deletion audit record is kept for operational and abuse-prevention purposes.
  • Local app preferences are cleared, including local app state and settings stored there.

Subscriptions Are Separate

Deleting your CogniFocus account does not cancel a Google Play subscription

Subscriptions must be managed or cancelled through Google Play. Some purchase records may remain with Google Play or RevenueCat as required for subscription management, restoration, compliance, fraud prevention, tax, legal, or platform requirements

Local Data

Locally stored data may also be removed when you clear app data or uninstall CogniFocus

Local data may include app state and preferences, theme, motion, accessibility and color settings, selected blocked apps, focus session state, planned sessions, reminder state, and some progress or session-related data
